This book marks the start of a new Lori Foster series. The hero, Leese, was introduced in her earlier series about a group of MMA fighters who trained at the same gym and were like family to each other. Leese has left MMA and is now working for a security firm called Body Armor (which is owned and operated by a wwoman). He's been assigned to a case where he was to find, then protect a young woman on the run named Catalina, Cat for short. You learn early on that Cat has been on the run because she fears for her life, but only gradually do you find out why. Without giving the story away, there are two dangerous, perverted men who desire her. One is a wealthy, powerful man with many influential connections. The other is a hired thug whom the first man thinks he controls, but the thug is obsessed with Cat and intends to claim her as his own. There is also a mystery about whether Cat's stepfather is part of the circle who men who want to capture her to silence her. The attraction between Cat and Leese is immediate and hot and their romance is enjoyable reading. It was also a nice touch to have Leese's MMA friends make a brief appearance in the story. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Leese Phelps gets his turn in Foster's newest release. He is what you expect from a Foster hero. He's strong, hot, protective, respectful, and mindful of his own flaws. We see just how hard Leese took it when he inadvertently endangered Cherry's life in Holding Strong. In Cat, we have another heroine who has quirks and pushes against stereotypes. Her love of being an art teacher is endearing. At her best with this book, Foster pulls off a tightly woven suspenseful plot along with the romance.. And of course, we get a brief visit from some of our favorites from the Ultimate series. I can't wait for Justice's book.
Lori Foster is at it again and this time she is bringing us the world of fighters again, but with a twist.

In Under Pressure, the first book in the Body Armor series, we get to read Leese and Catalina's story. Leese came off as quite the jerk in the previous serious he was in, but he's back and he has redeemed himself. Leese is now working full time as one of the top bodyguards at Body Armor and he's been put on the job as bodyguard to Catalina, rich girl that is on the run. When Leese and Catalina first meet, there is already something there. He see's her for who she is and needs to protect her and she is running from overhearing something from very powerful men.

Cat isn't one of those shy girls to keep to herself, oh no - she speaks up and she let's everyone know what she wants, especially Leese. Through out the book you aren't sure when the trouble is going to come, who is necessarily the bad guy or who is the good guy, but you do see read a lot of humor, steamy scenes and read a great story of Leese and Cat falling for each other.

I love Lori Foster's writing and she has yet to disappoint. I can't wait to start in on Hard Justice - his story is going to be great!
Lori Foster has been a favorite author of mine for years. She has a unique gift of being able to start a series and still bring in characters from other series in a way that not only makes sense but also adds depth and history to a new storyline. Leese's character started out as very unsympathetic and yet has morphed or grown into a true hero. He recognizes his past and bad choices that he made prior to meeting the Ultimate Fighters gang. Catalina is tough and sweet. Loved her sarcastic humor and forwardness. Was a bit baffled about her not just coming out with the INFORMATION, Of course, that's because there is NO WAY I would have held that inside and not mentioned it. LOL I HATE reading Spoilers, so no details, But I hightly recommend this book. -)
It always surprises me when Ms. Foster has the cops from.the Love Undercover dropping by Rowdy's Bar and running into Fighters and maybe one of the Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor. I LOVE IT!!! As for the female characters. They are diverse and wonderful. Strong and vulnerable at the same time. Brave and sassy and sexy. Both the men and women are passionate with just enough insecurity to make sure you talk to the book like you're going to somehow stop them from doing something that gets them into the kind of trouble that of course WE can see a mile away. The Read is fast, entertaining and provocative. You think about the characters even after you are finished and you KINDLE is on its charger. LOL
Leese is a former MMA fighter, but found that it just isn't for him. So he becomes a personal bodyguard.

Cat is a daughter of a well to do gentleman who is not considered the norm in the wealthy circle. She is outspoken, an art teacher, and does her own thing.

One day while Cat is out taking pictures, she over hears a well known politician confess to a murder. She is seen and goes on the run.

Leese is hired by Cat's step-father and his boss and her company help her get out of the trouble she is in.
Cat also has a bodyguard that her father uses that wants Cat and not for fun. She has a few people after her and they are all connected to the same person.

Cat tells Leese she wants him, but he tries his best to stay away from a client, but she gets under his skin and maybe into his heart.
These two heat up the pages and Cat soon realizes she is in love with Leese. He thinks her feelings are because he is her protector and she has hero worship.

In the end after a few twists and turns, and some surprises thrown in there(Cannon, Armie surprises), gun shots, kidnappings, and other violent going ons, can these two work out their feelings and come forth with them and be happy?
